Visalakshi is an artist par excellence. She says, “I will always have a box of needles and several spools of threads around me. And the minute my household work is done, my fingers will always be occupied in creating something new and nice. My handiwork is not just my hobby or something that I pursue whenever I am bored.
I like to create new designs using my imagination. It gives me the opportunity to use my head and hands together to create something special – with all my love and passion. Yes, I am very passionate about my art work and embroidery.
I love baking too. Cakes, cookies, muffins… I bake them all to perfection. I even put up stalls in Chennai to showcase and sell my handiwork.”
